Being a 'Newbie' Doesn't Mean You Can't Charge High Ticket Prices

As we start another week in this awesome month (😇), I want to remind you to embrace your value.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I was speaking with one of my clients the other day and they mentioned that they were talking to one of their friends, telling them about a new programme that we’re planning together. She told her the cost and then friend was convinced that it was too much.

✨This coming after I saw my client’s brilliant drafts of resources, programme curriculum... the WORKS. PLUS she’s certified in her craft and knows what she’s doing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now, there’s no beef with that friend lol. Rather, it proves the continued belief that because we are new, we need to lowball ourselves and hope that we can ‘prove’ our worth so that people will miraculously see your value. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The harsh reality is, what undercharging REALLY does is:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

📍Train people to expect low prices from you so they won’t always willingly process you raising your prices. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

📍Keep you with the 9-5 mindset that you have to be ‘good enough’ to move up, or else you’ll stay at the same level for as long as they want to keep you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

📍Cause you to keep yourself in a box of what you can earn and what you can deliver. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

📍Lead to you trading more time for money to truly cover the bills. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

📍Clients who don’t fully respect ALL that you do for them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

... and more based on personalized circumstances. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’m able to say all this because I learned the HARD way. That witnessed me earning less than 2k over 5 months. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When I decided to buckle down and change the game for myself and STOP undercharging, I quickly amassed over 10k and clients who respect me fully. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
